I don't know if you
had the opportunity (or inclination) to watch any of the Olympic Trials in
general and especially the high jump on Saturday, but I thought I'd pass this
along to you anyway. It was phenomenal competition. The article I
have pasted below comes from a blogger, Mr. David Hunter, who is near and dear
to me and to WRA. He is my former roommate (two years), fellow prefect,
fellow co-captain of the track team, fellow Gold Medal winner senior year. Mr.
Hunter is also a prominent member on WRA's Board of Trustees.
I hope you enjoy his blog. The photos are amazing, as well, although I will spare you my
typical analysis of those jumps. At any rate, I know that it is a long
way away from next track season, but, as you also know, I hardly ever do not
have track on my brain. I am looking forward to seeing this trio (and a
whole host of other USA athletes) compete at the London Olympics later this
summer. I hope you get a chance to watch them!!
